Um but kevin stefanski is obviously running the show here for this offense so they ranks 12th for past game coaching and towards the top of the league for run game coaching sixth as I mentioned a very well diversified run game specificallyuh. And um you know it’s just gonna be a fun time because we’re gonna whip the crap out of those bravest man let’s go just buy a million baby let’s go here we go I appreciate you guys I love the jets familyso i’ll talk to you soon man. We will have our football ops intern pick you up from the airport when you land and then he’ll take you to the hotel and then someone from our athletic training staff will pick you up tomorrow morning for your physical so it’ll be a quick trip in and outwe’ll really just get get you physical bring you in have you meet some of the coaches and some of our staff and then get you out of here all right thank you very much no problem take care. Yeahi’m going to download it. Um so they’ll protect him but man he’s just not a good cover safety they let him test the market for a reason they end up bringing him back because they do trust his run defense he’s one of the better tackling safeties in the league so that’s why he’s there but certainly gonna be a little bit of a detractor from the coverage grade here as far as the depth goes that said you have demonte casey now they did not have a coverage safety other than minka fitzpatrick last season now they do casey is a very nice hybrid defensive back type he’s played some slot corner he can play strong safety free safety and I do think now that you know edmonds is on a cheap deal they brought him back for nothing you have a guy like kz when you get to your dime packages I think edmunds might be more of what they’ve been trying to do with like marcus allen and miles killebrew where he’s just a linebacker like on third downs and they already do a lot of that with him but even to a more exaggerated degree now and then you can put damonte casey back there and you can go a little bit more too high or have him be more of a cover safety so I love that they they get someone that can buy them some more flexibility and I would say he makes up for a little bit of how much tyrell edmonds is a detractor in in coverageand then you have a couple other strong safety backups there miles killebrew who they kind of like they signed carl joseph though who I think they’re hoping can be the guy that wins that that backup strong safety job and and maybe if he can get back to what he was maybe in 2016 carl joseph could even beat out tyrell edmonds he has that sort of potential. So I hope that he’s okay for training camp because it gets me a little worried that both of our starting tackles are not in mini camp so let’s hope that they’re both ready for training camp I think that they’re going to wait and to see his knee let him play outand maybe if he is playing at a high level extend him throughout in the middle I think they should I think with how he’s played the last couple years.
